CAMPING AND CARAVANNING SITE SYKOVEC is located near the village Tři Studně not far from Nové Město na Moravě. There 7 cabins in the campsite, outside of that camp has a capacity of 100 places for tents and 30 or so places for caravans there are also 55 connections for electricty . We use the E-plug in the campsite.
Autokemp Sykovec provides a local shop and a news stand which are open every day during the July-August holiday period. There is a restaurant and pizzeria in the campsite, toilets, warm showers and accessories for cooking in free to use kitchen; microwave, fridge, cookers and kettles aswell as washing machine. For bikers, there is a lockable cycle store and in case of bad weather visitors can spend time in our social room, with library, table tennis and football and TV.
The campsite is situated in the Protected Natural Reservation of Žďárské vrchy which itself is situated in the heart of the Shire of Vysočina. Žďárské vrchy are an ideal place for holidays and there is plenty of natural beauty to witness everywhere you go. Many rock formations are situated in a walking distance from the campsite and they are very popular among climbers and casual admirers of great views alike. The best views may be seen form Pasecká skála, Devět skal, Malínská skála or Prosička.
Cyclists and tourists will appreciate the great number of various pathways, many of which are asphalted, to discover the local natural beauty for example in many natural springs the closest of which Barborka and Vitulka can be found a mere kilometre from the campsite. In Nové Město na Moravě, there are also singletracks for the lovers of adventure. Bicycles can be borrowed in the camp.
The camp is situated on the bank of the Sykovec Lake which takes pride in being a lake with the clearest water in the region. It is also a popular place for rowing boats and pedals are available in the camp.
Near the campsite you can find many beautiful historical sites such as Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk at Zelená hora or the Pernštejn castle.
Lovers of horses and cowboys can visit the biggest western city in the Czech Republic The Western City Šiklův Mlýn.
